It's updated regularly unlike Awoo/TinWoo/Goldleaf/original Tinfoil, it's powerful and reliable and the MTP host is useful af. It's not full of hostile code that's caused endless problems for users and it's not written by a power-abusing bigoted piece of sh*t unlike "Tinfoil".

I couldn’t have better resumed that’s why I consider DBI as for now the best installer and powerful tool for hacked switches.
Tinfoil, only is useful for me for checking updates and DLC.
I do respect all works from all developers, but can’t agree with some “fights “ on the scenes.

Yes, you won’t havé issues if it’s a “legit “ card.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I am using a 512GB card that is rated at max read speed of 100MB/sec, and that seems slow sometimes when loading a long cut scene. But manufacturer's ratings are often misleading because they test it using ideal conditions, and actual speed also depends on the host device. Your post has "mbps" units - the small "b" means bits, not bytes. But if you mean mega bytes per second, similar to my card, then I would say it's acceptable. If I had more money to spare, I would buy faster card.

It looks like this is not open source. I also scanned the dbibackend.exe for virus and came up with several hits. Do you know if those been identified as false-positives?
I've been using Awoo since switching over to Atmosphere, and have yet to encounter an issue.

You don't need to use the dbibackend.exe program
Just the homebrew dbi nro is needed and a USB cable by running the MTP responder

Tinfoil also is closed source. Awoo open, but not “updated”.
Dbibackend.exe will always report warnings, as it “touches” some sensitive windows ports. Don’t use it, only MTP responder is useful.

It's a personal choice. I'll use AWoo until it doesn't work anymore, then will look for other option. To me it's just a utility. I have a tendency to lean toward transparency.

You’re right, all, always, end up to personal choices.
