Welcome to Hobby 2023
Hobby is launching the 2023 season with a series of new innovations. Enjoy fresh interior updates, targeted layout upgrades and new kitchen technology in our caravans. The motorhomes remain unchanged with all of their model ranges in the OPTIMA series in the new season. The top van innovation: our VANTANA camper vans will be joined by the new luxury class model range MAXIA VAN in a modern hygge design inspired by Scandinavia.

Caravans
In addition to the popular and unchanged best-sellers ONTOUR and DE LUXE, the EXCELLENT and PRESTIGE will be given a modern interior update. The design model ranges EXCELLENT EDITION and MAXIA will be expanded to include new layouts. A new hob/sink combination and a new refrigerator will make the kitchens even more convenient in many of our popular model ranges.

New furniture finish
The new anthracite wood finish “Platino” in combination with pale elements in “Magnolia” adds modern, friendly style to the EXCELLENT.

Four new layouts
Four EXCELLENT layouts will shift to the EXCELLENT EDITION starting in the 2023 season. Which means the popular model range will be available with even greater diversity.
Prestige
New upholstery combination
Pale grey upholstery with a sleek grey decorative curtain: the new upholstery combination makes the PRESITGE even more welcoming. The pale design looks friendly and modern. The Vivalife fabrics used for the seat cushions are particularly sustainable. They are made of upcycled fibres and are fully recyclable. On top of that, the fabric is particularly easy to care for. Most spots can be removed easily with a damp cloth and soft brush.

New hob/sink combination
Design meets function: all Hobby caravans (except for the MAXIA 660 WQM with the Gas on Glass design hob) will feature a new hob/sink combination with electric ignition starting in the 2023 season. The set-up makes it easy to clean. Both elements can be covered with black glass panels. They not only look good, but also keep out dust while providing an additional work surface and storage space.

New refrigerator
All Super Slim Tower refrigerators will be replaced: the new DOMETIC 130-litre absorption refrigerator with a removable 12-litre freezer compartment offers a major advantage when it comes to convenience. Thanks to double-hinge technology, it can be opened from both sides. Height-adjustable shelves provide plenty of flexible space for provisions of all shapes and sizes. The energy source is selected automatically.

Hot water underfloor heating
Starting in the 2023 season, a total of 11 layouts will be offered with practical hot water underfloor heating. The following models will be equipped with this convenient feature starting in the 2023 season:

Maxia
Modern. Scandinavian. Maxia.
The Hobby MAXIA world continues to grow: after the MAXIA 495 UL and the MAXIA 660 WQM, Hobby is carrying on the success of Scandinavian cosiness in its caravan designs. With the new MAXIA 585 UL layout, the model range will feature a new premium caravan with hygge charm in the 2023 season.

New 585 UL layout
With a width of 2.5 metres and sleek furniture surfaces, the MAXIA 585 UL provides a tremendous sense of space. The new model is longer and wider than the Maxia 495 UL and features innovations such as two corner panels with practical reading lights in the U-shaped seating area for more light in the evening. A large wardrobe and cabinets with a pull-out drawer ensure plenty of additional storage space.

Motorhomes
The popular OPTIMA model range continues in a further season. In addition to the OPTIMA DE LUXE, which came in a brand new hygge design last summer, the OPTIMA ONTOUR EDITION, OPTIMA ONTOUR and OPTIMA ONTOUR OVERCAB remain unchanged in our portfolio.
Slight modifications to the kitchen of the OPTIMA ONTOUR EDITION V65 GQ and to our drop-down beds are to come soon.
Optima De Luxe
Best-seller in hygge style
The Scandinavian top model range remains unchanged in the next season. The OPTIMA DE LUXE fits seamlessly into the popular MAXIA world with its linear furniture and perfectly coordinated colours.
With its five layouts, the OPTIMA DE LUXE offers flexible solutions for couples and families. Options in its equipment package include a double bed, single beds or a practical drop-down bed.
Vans
While our popular VANTANA ONTOUR EDITION and VANTANA DE LUXE model ranges will start the 2023 season unchanged in terms of their comprehensive equipment packages and design, we are soon expecting an absolute Hobby novelty in the premium camper van segment with the new MAXIA VAN. Fully equipped and ready to hit the road: the VANTANA ONTOUR EDITION continues to be the perfect newcomer vehicle. The VANTANA DE LUXE will retain its extensive equipment package along with a host of highlights – such as the extra-wide panoramic roof vent HOBBY-TOP.

Autonomy package with lithium battery SUPER B Epsilon, 12 V / 150 Ah
The lithium battery takes performance to a whole new level when travelling off the beaten track. Thanks to integrated cell heating, the battery even charges when it's freezing outside – perfect for winter camping trips! The free HobbyConnect app enables you to easily monitor the battery status on your smartphone or tablet, including the charge level and remaining time.
The lithium battery is an optional extra. If this special request is made, the otherwise used AGM battery is omitted.
