I'll try to highlight where each of the items and slimes can be found on the pages for each region of the game, however since some can spawn randomly, I may not be able to narrow it down beyond a general area. Each time a new slimepedia entry should be created, I'll bold the slime/item in the guide. At the end of the guide when mopping up the last few bits for the Slimepedia, and when you know your way around the map more, there is a list of everything that appears in the Slimepedia.

Here is a list of all the Slimes you can currently find in the game, and that you will need to collect in order to finish the Slimepedia. Some are rarer than others and you will need to keep an eye out for.

Just a quick note, I mention agitation in these slime descriptions. Slimes become agitated on your Ranch if you don't feed them. They will have an angry/sad look on their faces if they are in this state. They are more likely to despawn or have any of their natural abilities become more frequent if you leave them in this state. all you need to do is feed them and they will return to normal.

Slimes

Pink Slime:

The most common slime in the game, it can be found in practically any location outside the Ranch, and some times a few even appear in the ranch, and appear at any time of day. It will eat anything and has no favourite food. It produces pink plorts when fed, which usually aren't worth much, however once you open get access to the Lab on the ranch, pink plorts are one of the most commonly used for creating Slime Science gadgets.
Rock Slime:

Another common slime, along with the Tabby slime and Pink slime. They are most commonly found in the Dry Reef and in the Indigo Quarry. They eat vegetables and their favourite food is the Heart Beet. Take care when approaching these slimes, because they'll roll into a spikey ball and you'll take a bit of damage if they hit you, or you run into them.

Phosphor Slime:

A common slime, can be found everywhere but only at night. If exposed to sunlight for too long, they will disappear, and are therefore one of the few slimes that need to the Solar Shield upgrade in the corral if you are going to keep them. As they cab fly away, the will also need the Air Net upgrade in the corral. They have a diet of fruit and their favourite food is the Cuberry.

Tabby Slime:

They can be found almost everywhere at any time of the day, the only place they don't appear is in the Indigo Quarry. These slimes resemble and behave like domesticated cats, including their dietary requirement of Meat. Their favourite food is the Stony Hen. Tabby slimes can jump really high, so an Air Net in the corral would be a big help.

Honey Slime:

Found exclusively in the Moss Blanket. They eat fruit and Mint Mangoes are the Honey slimes favourite food. Honey plorts attact other slimes for a further distance than others so watch out for the Tarr. In Rush mode, these are some of the most efficient plort producers when compared with feeding costs, also useful in Adventure too (they were my main income source in the form of Boom Honey Largos and Quantum Honey Largos, see the next page for info on Largos)

Puddle Slime:

Found in pools and shallow water everywhere, except for the main area in the Dry Reef. They require a pond to survive on the Ranch. Their diet is water and don't have a favourite food. These slimes, along with Fire slimes, are different to the rest as you cannot actively feed them. Instead they produce one puddle plort every 6 in-game hours. Also you can only keep a maximum of four Puddle slimes in a single Pond; this is increased to 5 if you put a Rubber Duck slime toy in the Pond. If there are too many Puddle Slimes in a certain area they blush and not produce any Plorts. They will evaporate if you keep them out of any body of water for too long.

Boom Slime:

Boom slimes are found in the Moss Blanket and in the Indigo Quarry. They eat meat, and their a favourite food is a Briar Hen. Booms slimes are dangerous, as they do exactly as their name suggests, they go BOOM. The cracks on a boom slimes give an indication of how close they are to exploding, initially the cracks are not visible and the slimes are a dull red. It slowly turns bright red, and the cracks become more pronounced. Over time it will become more fiery, indicating another imminent explosion. These will damage your health a bit, and will knock you out if you get hit by enough explosions (watch out when farming these slimes). Their explosions can be nullified for 30 seconds if you spray them with water, and they explode less often if they are well fed.

Rad Slime:

Rad slimes are found in the Indigo Quarry and in the Wilds (as Saber Largos). They eat vegetables and their favourite food is the Oca Oca. These slimes produce a rad aura (a bright green circle around them) which will irradiate you. When your irradiation level reaches 100, you will start taking damage. You can nullify the aura for 20 seconds by spraying a Rad slime with water.

Crystal Slime:

Crystal slimes are found in only a couple of places in the Indigo Quarry. They eat vegetables and their favourite food is the Odd Onion. Similar to the Rock slimes, the crystal slimes will also damage you upon contact. Also, they can leave patches of crystal on the floor which will also damage you. These crystal traps can be destroyed with water.

Quantum Slime:

Found mainly in the Ancient Ruins, these slimes also appear in certain areas of the Glass Desert. They eat fruit, and their favourite food is the Phase Lemon. These slimes routinely produce ghost copies of themselves which fly in a straight line from whichever way the slime was moving at the time of ghost creation. They have the ability to teleport to the location of their ghosts when they get agitated and aren't being fed. If you spray a ghost with water then it will be destroyed and if you spray a Quantum slime with water, you will temporarily suppress the ability to create ghosts.

Dervish Slime:

Found exclusively in the Glass Desert, especially around oases. They eat fruit and their favourite food is the Prickle Pear. They can create small cyclones underneath themselves, giving them some lift, but when agitated they can create large cyclones independent of the slime, which reduces visibility and can sweep up everything in its path. Be especially careful if you make Dervish Largos, as the cyclone will take on all the characteristics of the Largo.

Mosaic Slime:

Also found exclusively in the Glass Desert. They eat vegetables and their favourite food is the Silver Parsnip. They produce glints of light that erupt into a ball of fire when they hit the ground which cause damage if they hit you. When they are more agitated, they will produce more glints, but as with many of the other slimes, spraying them with water will nullify the effect temporarily.

Tangle Slime:

Another slime exclusively found in the Glass Desert. They eat meat and their favourite food is the Painted Hen. They can create vines that can be used to pick up food and plorts from a distance, even if they are in corrals (they can reach outside and grab anything lying around, including from in other corrals). Because of this, if you corral these slimes, make sure it is far away from other slimes and also away from coops. If they become agitated, they will release pollen that makes surrounding slimes sneeze, increasing the agitation of other affected slimes.

Fire Slime:

Similar to puddle slimes, they eat ash and have no favourite food. They require an Incinerator with and Ash Trough upgrade in order to survive. They produce plorts once every two in-game hours. Since they are constantly on fire, any food and chickadoos that touch a burning fire slime are destroyed. Slimes that touch a burning fire slime get agitated and knocked back. Its fire can be temporarily extinguished by splashing it with water.

Hunter Slime:

Can be found in parts of the Moss Blanket and the Glass Desert. they eat meat and their favourite food is a Roostro. You may have trouble finding them as they are usually invisible, leaving only its eyes and mouth fully visible. Can occasionally attempt to pounce at you, indicated by wiggling before making a jump in your direction. The slime will turn invisible during its wiggle. If you create a Hunter largo, they will instantly become feral unless you calm them with food.

Saber Slime:

Can be found in the Wilds, and will always be feral until fed. They are found exclusively as Largo slimes. They eat meat and have no favourite food. They can also jump just as high as Hunter and Tabby slimes, however they can bounce off walls to change the direction of their jump.

Quicksilver Slime:

Found in the Nimble Valley, which can only be accessed via the Mochi's Manor Ranch Expansion. These only appear in the Nimble Valley activity and are therefore unlike all the other slimes. Quicksilver slimes cannot be stored in the Vacpack, and cannot be kept in a corral and their plorts cannot be sold on the Plort Market, only exchanged at Mochi's Manor for Newbucks.

Gold Slime:

The rarest slime in the game, the Gold slime is found all over the Far, Far Range. They don't eat anything, but will produce gold plorts when hit with virtually any resource. However, if fed they equally rare Gilded Ginger, they will produce 5 gold plorts. These plorts are the most valuable in the game. When a Gold slime spots you, it will run away from you. You cannot Vac this slime up and it will despawn soon after being seen.

Lucky Slime:

Also incredibly rare and found everywhere. They don't have a favourite food or produce plorts, however if they are fed any sort of meat, they will shoot up into the air and produce NewBucks. They make a distinctive jingling sound when nearby and will despawn quite soon after they appear. They also cannot be place collected by the VacPack or corralled.

Twinkle Slime

Added in 2018, Twinkle Slimes are exclusive slime which only appear during the Wiggly Wonderland event from 18th-30th December. They appeared in fixed locations and when you are near one of them, they produce a distinctive slime-like harmony. When approached, they burst into song and then explode, producing a decorative item called a Chime as well as an ethereal two-way teleporter back to your Ranch which lasts until midnight in real time. They can't be caught or corralled and do not produce any plorts.

That is it for the slimes at the moment, although more are likely to be added in further updates. One of these upcoming slimes is known as a Glitch Slime, arriving in update 1.4.0.
